Minutes of the previous meeting:

The minutes of the 2015Spring AGM were proposed as an accurate record by St.John Farley, seconded by Chris Dixon and agreed by those present.

Presentation of the Treasurer’s Report and Statement of Accounts:

BN addressed the AGM to present the Honorary Treasurer’s Report, highlighting that the net operating surplus shown in the accounts is insufficient due to the ongoing mortgage repayments which require £6k per year.

Brian added that there is a need for the Membership to support and spend in the bar, and to raise sponsorship.

Any event the Club organises needs to return some surplus funds.

SF asked whether stocking draft beer instead of bottles only lead to increased cost. BN said this was not a major concern as bar takings were up almost 100% on last year so the cost of draught beer wastage is less relevant.

Amendments to the Club Rules:

GD read through a number of proposed changes to the Club Rules which were voted on by the AGM on bloc.

Acceptance of he changes was proposed by Brian Nathan, seconded by Graham Ashton, and passed by a majority of 13 votes in favour to one against (SW), with one abstention (PV).

Any Other Business:

CD asked whether it was expected the Club would sign Stanny Simon as overseas player for the 2016 season.

CR has been in contact with Stanny and explained this depended on his possible selection for the Leeward Islands squad, which would make him ineligible to play, and that more would be known on this developing situation on the next week.
