Key Responsibilities

Reporter

  1. Write, edit and publish reports
  2. To write material for programs scripts, bulletins and links,
  3. To undertake interviewing and reporting duties, under broad direction in both recorded and live situations, in studio or on location, for both Radio and Television
  4. responsible for researching and writing original content, and supervising our current social media accounts
  5. Review all material daily, and review pages for inappropriate material

Translator

  1. translate written Myanmar scripts for a news program into written English
  2. To take care for working on time-sensitive news reports
  3. To translate some Myanmar scripts to English version and International English version into Myanmar

News Editor

Exercising editorial judgment, maintaining professional journalistic standards and adhering to MRTV-3 policy and legal and contractual guidelines.

To prepare and present bulletins, including assessing incoming copy, sub-editing news copy and deploying the necessary resources.

Video Tape Editor

  1. Responsible for assembling recorded raw material into a finished product that's suitable for broadcasting.
  2. To make sure The material may include camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, graphics and special effects
  3. receiving a brief, and maybe an outline of footage and/or a shot list, script, or screenplay;
  4. assembling all raw footage, with camera shots either recorded or transferred onto video tape in preparation for inputting into the computer;
  5. inputting uncut rushes and sound, and synchronizing and storing them into files on the computer;
  6. digitally cutting the files to put together the sequence of the film and deciding what is usable;
  7. creating a 'rough cut' (or assembly edit) of the program/film and determining the exact cutting for the next and final stages;
  8. Reordering and tweaking the content to ensure the logical sequencing and smooth running of the film/video.
  9. construct a finished film clip from many different shots, often done on a computer

IT

  1. Digital technology, specialist computer software and high-quality digitization of sound and pictures have effectively replaced the traditional manual method of cutting film.
