Teacher: Every team has an opportunity to choose any unit they like.

There are two tasks with different scores in each unit: 20 and 30 scores. You may choose any of them.

For example, you can say, “We will play 30 scores”. In this case I will give you the question for 30 scores. Ok. Then, you will speak about one of the British customs in your unit. Have you got any questions?

Now we’ll ask our jury to help us count the scores and announce the results of the game.

Let’s start our game with preliminary quiz for captains. If the captain doesn’t know the answer to the questions, the members of the team can help him. The maximum time – 30 seconds.

Teacher: Now we are going to have a musical break. Let’s sing a traditional Scottish song. Most people only sing it once a year. On New Year’s Eve. “Auld Long Sine” means “a long time ago”. The song says “We’ll never forget old friends”.
