Through the financial assistance of the Allstate Sugar Bowl, one of our fine corporate partners, the LHSAA provides a college scholarship program for our student-athletes.

Allstate Sugar Bowl will award ten (10) $1,500 scholarships; five (5) male and five (5) female student-athletes.

Graduating senior student-athletesmust have earned at least a 3.5 GPA after seven (7) semesters of high school study and a 24 ACT score.

The student-athlete should possess desirable leadership qualities, have displayed good citizenship in their school and community, have participated in non-athletic related school activities/organizations and have achieved non-athletic related school honors.

Enclosed is an outline of the scholarship program and application. All applications must be signed by the school’s principal.

The LHSAA is extremely appreciative of the Allstate Sugar Bowl for undertaking this scholarship program and the positive manner in which it stresses the importance of academic excellence to our student-athletes.

Monetary value of the scholarship / $1,500 for each scholarship
Who is eligible to receive an Allstate Sugar Bowl Scholarship? / -Must be a 2017-2018 LHSAA registered student-athlete and 2018 graduating senior
