As one of the favourites to take the singles title TKS’s Dan Ind started well beating Alex Doerr but was quickly brought down to earth by Ken Wohlmstetter. Wycliffe E just got the better of Rednock A with a 3-2 win. Rory Maybery and Peter Kemp picked up a point each and combined to take the doubles for Wycliffe.
