Lord’s Prayer and Communion Cubes for children are available for anyone to use during the service. Please just ask if you would like to borrow one.

There is an induction loop system in the church and all hearing aid users are invited to switch to ‘T.’ Large print hymn books are available if required. Please ask one of the sidespeople.

A very big thank you to all those who have generously donated to the Easter Flower fund enabling us to decorate the church for our celebration of Easter with spring flowers. For those remembering someone special at this time their names are placed on the board at the back of the church with the lilies in the main pedestal arrangement at the front.

Thursday 20th AprilBible Society Coffee Morning in the Town Hall. We have a small ecumenical local Action Group but need helpers for this, as well as bric-a-brac, cakes, plants. Please contact Anne Simpson (822277) if you can provide any of the above or help on the day.

Rug making for Rug Aid Following the really interesting presentation from Heather Ritchie, on the charity Rug Aid, we are looking to support her fundraising further by arranging a workshop as an introduction to rug making. This will be run by Heather in her Reeth Workshop initially for 8 people. If you are interested in this workshop please contact Katrina Templeton 01748 449300 or . Cost will be £25 inclusive of all materials. Dates to be confirmed. Car sharing will be arranged.

Christian Aid Week 14-21 May

There is a list of the streets which St Mary's collectors try to cover at the back of church. Please have a look at it and sign your name and phone number if you can deliver envelopes to any of the streets listed. Many thanks Anne Simpson and Judith Barber.

Missing! A car key was mislaid in church on Saturday 8th April. If anyone has found it or has any information regarding this would they please advise Canon John or Judith Clarke. Thanks very much.

Maureen Gibbon would like to thank all who attended or worked at theBritish Heart coffee morning on Thursday 6th April, and to everybody who donated. We raised £406. 20, and £200 will given towards a holiday for Dylan,a very special little boy.

Sunday 7th MayThe Friends of Marrick Priory have an evening of song with Fourum, together with wine and cheese on arrival so that we can all spend some time in the grounds appreciating the beautiful views of Swaledale. As usual a bus will collect from Nun's Close car park, on this occasion at 5.15pm, returning around 9pm.
