Subject:Invitation to attend the 14th National Conference of SahodayaSchool Complexes at Chandigarh

Dear Principal,

As you are aware, CBSE has a vast network of over 8500 schools affiliated to it spread over the entire country and abroad. The affiliated schools cover a wide range of school patterns like Government schools, Government aided schools, Kendriya Vidyalayas, Navodaya Vidyalayas, SainikSchools, schools under defence establishments and independent schools run by the registered societies.

In order to facilitate schools to grow together based on the concept of caring and sharing, the Board launched the Sahodaya Movement in the year 1986. Under this concept the schools which are geographical together form a Sahodaya School Complex and share their expertise and experience for collective growth. Today there are over 150 active Sahodaya School Complexes in different parts of the country and abroad networking nearly 3000 member schools.

In order to bring the members of the Sahodaya Movement on a common platform the Board holds the national conference of Sahodaya School Complexes every year on the theme of current educational relevance and importance. The 13th National Conference was held at Hyderabad last year on the theme ‘Reengineering Mindsets in School Education – building pathways for innovation’.
