Homecoming video creation / Work on Project #3 / HW: Find an interesting object that is important to you. Sketch or photograph it from at least 16 angles. Get different close up views.
In class:
Finish Upside Down drawing. If time, convert it to a style that appeals to you. (Ex: zombie, sporty, rock and roll, etc.)
Viewfinder Drawing:
-Use viewfinder to trace your own hand in foreshortened position
-Grid paper the same size as viewfinder
-Draw contours lightly onto paper
-Shade with Ebony pencils and blenders as shown / Demo: starting spread templates on Adobe Illustrator (new file, rulers and guidelines, colored boxes with stroke/fill, moving objects, copy/paste)
Show parts of a spread (dominant photo, eyeline, secondary photos, text boxes for story and captions, margin, gutter, folio, content modules)
Inspiration: looking at magazines for template ideas, decorating template, when is decoration too much?
Editors: Finalize senior info sheet and hand out, choose section editors?
Ongoing: Fall Photoshoot- 200 photos of yearbook event(s), 20 edits, 10 key facts, data, or quotes from event. / 5-Mod FH
