This class focuses on the development of prewriting skills- pencil grasp, coloring skills, imitation, copying of lines and shapes, and basic introduction to letters.

The goal of this class is to review letter recognition and to learn proper formation of capital manuscript letters.

1st Gr. 4:00 – 4:45 PM (T/Th)

This class reviews capital letters and focuses on the proper formation of lower case manuscript letters.

2nd Gr. 4:00 – 4:45 PM (M/W)

Reviews proper letter formation and focuses on letter placement, spacing and legibility.

Cursive 5:00 – 5:45 PM (M/W)

Learn and refine proper formation of cursive letters and words.

Programs run July 1stto Aug 15th.

Registration deadline for all programs is June 24, 2014.

  • Classes are subject to cancellation due to limited enrollment
  • Unfortunately, Trinitas cannot pro-rate or refund sessions for any reason (illness, vacation, other camp conflicts, etc).
  • Times and days of classes are subject to change as the start date approaches. Participants will be notified of any and all changes at least 2 weeks prior to the start of each program. In the event that a change is made and the participant is unavailable, registration fee will be refunded.

A 50% deposit is due at registration. Final payment is due 1st day of program or camp.

SCRIBBLES TO SCRIPT

Children from preschool (prewriting) through elementary school (cursive) will learn that handwriting can be fun by participating in multi-sensory activities to reinforce learning. The Handwriting Without Tears program is used to teach the children proper letter formation.

TYPING WHIZKIDS

Children from 1st grade through middle school will participate in functional tasks that will allow them to learn efficient keyboarding skills. From key and finger placement to speed and accuracy children will learn this valuable skill the correct way by trained occupational therapists.

SOCIAL BUTTERFLIES

Children will learn to interact socially while engaged in a combination of tabletop and movement-based activities. The highly therapeutic classes will be co-supervised by 2 licensed and credentialed therapists.

SPORTS 1 STEP AT A TIME

Children between the ages of 4 and 12 have the opportunity to receive an introduction into several sports, including soccer, baseball, basketball, and kickball, in a non-competitive group setting.

LEARN TO RIDE BIKE RIDING LESSONS

Children will learn this vital childhood skill in a non-competitive environment with a highly trained therapist. Sessions are run in 60-minute periods of time. Dates and times can be organized to the client’s availability.

* Most children will require 2-3 sessions.

CAMP TRINITAS SCHOOL READINESS

Children will participate in gross motor, fine motor, sensory motor, and recreational activities during our 3rdannual ½ day camp program. The program is the perfect opportunity to have children gain new skills or maintain recently-learned motor and academic skills without a full day or even full week commitment. Sign up for as many days or weeks as you would like. Allow your child to participate in a camp directly organized and supervised by skilled clinicians and teachers in their respective fields.
