Invitation to Become a Member of SCVO

You are a valued Voluntary and Community Sector Organisation to SCVO and are currently listed on our online database –

I would like to invite you to take advantage of becoming a Member of SCVO which involves the completion and return of a simple form.

Becoming a Member is FREE and you can take advantage of many benefits including:-

• a clearer voice for the Sector
• a stronger profile for your organisation.
• increased opportunities for your organisation to shape Sandwell for the better.
• Increased access to resources to support your organisation.

There are also discounts and savings available to you on services by becoming a Member, which are highlighted in the “Becoming a Member” leaflet attached.

We look forward to receiving your completed form, upon which SCVO’s Board will make the decision on accepting your organisation to join the other 600 plus organisations who are currently Members. We will contact you once the decision has been taken.

You commit to SCVO’s Mission, Values and Objects.

You agree that you meet the criteria for becoming a Member of SCVO.

You agree to the Membership Agreement.

You agree to be listed on SCVO’s VCS Database.

You are happy to provide further information should we require it to ensure that you meet the criteria for Membership.

SCVO is a Company Limited by Guarantee, therefore member organisations will be included on the Company Register of Members. In the event of SCVO being wound up members will be required to pay the sum of £1.

In signing this Membership Application Form you are doing so on behalf of your organisation rather than as an individual and therefore you have the authority to undertake this.
