  31. Bring the Rep Club and make it a separate entity

  34. Pat Shefferfield : What is the reason of separating the club from the party?
  35. A: The club needs flexibility to operate, avoid tyranny, maintain checks and balances, we don’t ever get into the situation that the Rep party went through in previous years
  36. Charlene Capers: will the club be a 501C?
  37. Yes
  38. Nick: for those worried about the word PAC. The Houston Pachyderm Club does not have a PAC. You can still have an organization the does their business without being a PAC

  41. Mrs Houston: has fig tree offering figs to everyone, want to have contests that are fun food will be provided by the club, sides and drinks will be brought by members,
  42. Post dated checks will be accepted for the $5 donations, need people to help set up for the meeting, and help take it down
  43. “Leader” will be written monthly and sent out by email. All community information can be added to leader.
  44. Christina: thinking about starting a young republicans group, and block walking
  45. Mary: needs volunteers
