INFORMATION FOR STUDENTS IN GRADE 2 ONLY
On Thursday, March 9, 2017, at 7:00 p.m. there will be a meeting for the parents of the first communion children.
Practices for First Communion will be held on:Wednesday, May 3, 2017 from 4:00-5:00 PMand Thursday May 4, 2017at 7:00 PM. All parents are expected to attend.
Sacrament Schedule
First Penance will be administered on Monday, April 3, 2017 at 7:00 PM.
First Communion Mass and May Crowning will be celebrated on Saturday, May 4,2017 at10:00 AM.

Dear Parents,
I am writing to you in regard to registering your child for the 2016-2017 Religious Education Classes. The Eighth Grade Year of C.C.D. at Saint Clare’s is incorporated into a Pre-Confirmation Program.
The course is divided into two semesters: Fall and Spring. Classes for the Fall Semester will begin on Monday, October 3, 2016. There will be noclasses held during the months of December and January. Classes will resume for the Spring Semester on Monday, February 6, 2016 and continue according to the schedule listed below. All Classes will be held on Monday evening in the ParishCenter from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
The course consists of only twelve classes (six in each semester). Students areexpected to attend their classes each week to fulfill the requirements of the course. There are no exceptions made except those due to illness.

Dear Confirmation Students and Parents
The classes for Students preparing to receive the Sacrament of Confirmation will start on Tuesday, October 11,2016, at 7:00 PM in the Parish Center. This is a two-year course of study beginning in the 9th grade and continuing through the 10th grade. Only 10th grade students who have fulfilled ALL the requirements of this two-year course will be eligible to receive Confirmation on Friday, March 24, 2017at 7:30PM in St. Andrew’s Church.
This year our program will deal with the following topics: Sacraments of Initiation, Prayer, Self-Esteem and Faith Morality, and Requirements and Expectations of the Church. All 9th and 10th graders are required to attend all classes and 10th graders are required to take the exam on the date scheduled. All 9th and 10th graders must attend the Net Retreat.

SPONSOR FORMS: Candidates (10th Grade) are to give the enclosed Sponsor Form to their Sponsor. The Sponsor then takes the form to their own Parish to be signed by a Priest and affixed with the Parish Seal. All Sponsor Forms should be returned on or before December 1, 2016
