Forms can be found on the Trefoil Guild website under ‘Resources’. Once the Guild has been established you will receive a certificate of registration.

Guidance for

Registering a newly formed Trefoil Guild

This information is for the Chairman of a new Trefoil Guild.

The Chair of the Trefoil Guild:

  • Completes and signs the ‘Registration of a Trefoil Guild’ form
  • Completes a Joining Form for yourself
  • Collects completed Joining Form at a minimum of 5 other members
  • Gets signature of District/Division/County Commissioner as appropriate on the ‘Registration of a Trefoil Guild’ form
  • Keeps a copy
  • Forwards other copies to County Trefoil Guild Chair along with the 6 or more Joining Forms

(Joining Forms can be found on the Resources > Forms section of the website)

The Commissioner:

  • Checks and signs the form.

No need to take further action - for information only

The County Trefoil Guild Chair:

  • Checks and signs the ‘Registration of a Trefoil Guild’ form
  • Keeps a copy
  • Sends a copy of the ‘Registration of a Trefoil Guild’ form to County Registrations (Guide) for information
  • Sends a copy of the ‘Registration of a Trefoil Guild’ form to Country/Region Trefoil Guild Secretary or Chair for information
  • Sends the ‘Registration of a Trefoil Guild’ form to Trefoil Guild officealong with the Joining Forms.

The County (Guide) registrations personnel:

  • Records the information
  • Passes information to Country/Region Guide HQ if appropriate

The Country or Region registrations personnel:

  • Records information

The Trefoil Guild Office:

  • Registers the Guild and the members
  • Completes the registration certificate and sends it to County Trefoil Guild Chair who presents it to the Guild
  • Sends welcome packs to new members

If the Chair of the Trefoil Guild does not receive the registration certificate within eight weeks, she should contact her County Trefoil Guild Chair.
