Choir

Last week our Choir performed in two concerts on consecutive nights. On Thursday, they sang in front of a full hall at The Elizabethan Suite alongside Bury Youth Orchestra in aid of The Samaritans. The children did themselves proud not only in terms of their singing but their attitude and behaviour in what was quite a long evening. The following evening, they performed to a full St. Peter’s Church as part of the annual Christingle Service. A 30 strong choir sang alongside St. Luke’s and Holy Trinity primary schools. For many of the children it was their first performance and I sincerely hope, the first of many. Congratulations to all who took part and to their families for their support and encouragement too.

There will not be a choir rehearsal on 16th December, rehearsals will resume on the first Wednesday back in preparation for Young Voices!

IPC

On Thursday during assembly, we celebrated the work that had been completed for IPC homework. There were many fantastic pieces of work in all shapes and sizes, showing that a great deal of effort had been put in. Congratulations in particular to the children from Years 1 and 2 on their work on Transport.

Asthma

A reminder that if your child suffers from asthma, we must have an inhaler in school with the pharmacy/dispensing information on it.
