Reading Presentations 8-4 and 8-8

·  Every Monday

·  Individuals, or groups up to four Maximum

·  Each student participates in one Reading Presentation per term

·  20 minutes minimum to 40 minutes maximum

·  The Presentation may be done using a variety of techniques, including

·  a dramatic reading of some or all or the passage to be discussed that week

·  a drama (extra marks for costumes, sound, and visual affects)

·  a video

·  a tape recording

Please discuss other ideas with Mr. Manning before proceeding with them.

·  The Reading Presentation is worth 20% of your reading mark each term, and 50% of your

oral and visual communication mark each term
