I wish to confirm that the Finance, Assets & Information Services Directorate has now completed its search for the information which you requested by e-mail on 12th November 2015.

Your questions and my findings in blue font are below:-

1. Does the authority provide schools with internet filtering services?

Schools who subscribe to the authority’s central ICT services (broadband etc.) receive internet filtering.

2. Please provide the name of the authority's internet filtering software.

3. What is the annual cost to schools of the authority's internet filtering services?

It is included in the cost of their central ICT service and is not specifically identified

4. What is the pricing structure of the authority's internet filtering services - e.g. £ per user, etc.

The most common service is,80 / 20 FTTC service = £2k per annum plus £13.38 per pupil

5. Please provide a list of schools who have opted out of the authority's internet filtering services.

Most of the schools who have opted out of the councils offer use Lightspeed Rocket, provided by Schools Broadband.
