Rain-Outs/Suspended Games

Rain-Outs/Suspended Games

There shall be no more than 6 non-roster members in any team's bench area for soccer. These 6 non-players can be any combination of coaches or non-coaches they want. However those in the team box have to have a purpose for being there, i.e., they must be a coach or a trainer or an Athletic Director. All are subject to rules about behavior and can be carded and removed if necessary.

Points of Emphasis---

1. Remember that individuals playing with casts, face mask, etc, must be safe and also provide a doctor's letter,

on letterhead, to give you before each match or the said playerCANNOT PARTICIPATE.

2. We also have issues with illegal face masks being allowed. ( L'Anse Creuse and Cousino).

Even if a person has a letter, the mask still must be legal. *Mask must not have hard clasps or padding

underneath mask, also must not protrude past the player's nose.**safety FIRST**

If any of these things are present THE MASK MAY NOT BE ALLOWED, even if they have a Dr’s letter.

3. If you stop the clock to check a player it is NOT mandatory they leave the field.

If they are fine, simply restart clock and game with correct restart.

4. If a trainer or coach enters the field to evaluate a player, said player MUST leave the field of play.

In your pre-game requestthattrainers and coachesremain off the pitch until beckoned by the referee.

THIS INCLUDES GOALKEEPERS!!

5.Overtime issudden victory, 2 - 15 minutes overtime periods. (2 min half time interval).

Review the insert for postseason!! – Before each match

6.Yellow Card Caution -10 minute sit carries over into overtime and shots from the mark.

7. Anyone on roster may participate in shots from the mark as long as they have not been ejected or are currently serving the mandatory 10 minute caution. (NO stutter step allowed in MHSAA)

Lastly, as always, please work together with fellow officials in a respectful and professional manner on and off the pitch.
