What is REONetwork.com?

REONetwork.com is an online directory of screened and highly-qualified real estate professionals who specialize in the re-marketing of REO (real estate-owned) properties. REO homes are properties that have been acquired by a bank or lender as the result of a foreclosure.

REO professionals from every corner of the mortgage and lending industries use REONetwork.com to locate each other — it's fast, easy and free! Many asset managers use REONetwork.com to find local real estate professionals to aid in their loss mitigation and REO property re-marketing needs.

History of REONetwork.com

Prior to starting REONetwork.com, founder Duane Andrews was a successful REO broker in northern California. While building his REO business, he noticed a growing frustration from clients looking for experienced REO brokers to re-market their properties, especially in remote locations.

So in 2000, Andrews partnered with Kevin Marshall, a pioneer in the business-to-business web sphere, to create REONetwork.com. During the first three months of operation, the REONetwork.com site attracted more than 1,000 REO brokers. Today, REONetwork.com includes more than 12,000 screened and highly-qualified REO brokers, agents, and vendors (appraisers, contractors, service providers, and outsourcers).

The enormous success of REONetwork.com quickly led Andrews and Marshall to team up again in 2001 to build Clear Capital — one of the most highly regarded loan valuation outsourcing companies in the nation.

Since being founded, Windy Keefe, Business Development Manager, and the people at REONetwork.com have helped thousands of brokers, agents and vendors successfully present themselves to the REO industry in a professional manner. In doing so, REONetwork.com continues to be the most widely used searchable database of REO brokers, agents and vendors in the industry.

In 1999, Duane Andrews brought a breath of fresh air to REO asset managers across the nation when he came up with the idea for the first online directory of REO professionals. REONetwork.com gave asset managers free access to a screened list of experienced REO brokers and vendors, making the servicing and the remarketing of REO properties easier than ever before. You have to search by Zip Code or City. This was too time consuming, but when I put ALL in, it retrieved all of Allentown with quite a few agents. Small city in PA, so this would allow me to conclude there are many agents who have joined this site. I also put in Springfield, retrieving 3 cities with 13 agents.
