- Steel Garage Door Kit Contents
When you purchase a garage door from MRKT Doors, you will receive the following components regardless of what grade of door you purchase:
-The door curtain;
-The hangar brackets;
-The guide rails;
-A lock which is fitted to your door;
-A set of keys;
-2 x locking pins (tension setting tools);
-Installation instructions;

- The Door Grades Explained
MRKT Doors, together with our manufacturing partner, have created an industry first grading system to help protect customers against private contractors who sell non-retail door stock at retail prices. The grading system is designed to give you peace of mind about the product you are buying and to make sure you enjoy the good value you deserve.
A Grade Doors:
A grade doors are the type of doors that would typically be found at building supply shops. They have no scratches or dents. We source these doors directly from the factory and we supply them in their original factory packaging. A grade doors can be ordered in a variety of sizes (maximum of 2,7m x 2,7m) and colors.
B Grade Doors:
B grade doors are doors that have slight surface scratches or dents in the chromadec. These scratches or dents occur on the production line or even from the steel sheet arriving at the factory with small scratches or dents already on the material. These doors are mechanically perfect and are sourced directly from the factory in their original packaging. Sizes and colors are subject to doors that are in stock.
C Grade Doors:
C grade doors are doors that have been damaged in transit or during handling. The factory recalls the stock, un-rolls the door, and repairs whatever damage has been done. Once certified as being mechanically perfect, the doors are given a paint touch-up (if required) re-rolled and re-packaged. We source all C – grade doors directly from the factory in their original packaging. Sizes and colors are subject to doors that are in stock.
- Door Sizes
There are two standard door sizes:
Standard single opening size: Caravan single opening size:
2400mm wide X 2100mm high 2500mm wide x 2700mm high
Doors which are either smaller or larger that standard sizes can also be ordered through MRKT doors. The maximum size door that can be ordered through MRKT Doors is 2700mm x 2700mm.
- Door Color Options
When purchasing a B or C grade doors, MRKT doors is only able to offer colors which are in stock. Customers who want a specific color will more often than not be required to order an A grade door. The colors available to customers are:
African Cream Armor Grey Azure Blue
Black Cape Red Charcoal Grey
Colonial Green Gemsbok Sand Safari Brown
Customers can also choose to order doors in white.
- Installation of Garage Doors
MRKT Doors understands that not all of our customers want to install their doors themselves. For this reason we have carefully built a list of preferred suppliers who have good reputations and many years of experience in the installation of garage doors.
In order to make the process as simple as possible for our customers, we will allocate an installer to a customer’s project. MRKT Doors handles the installer booking, stock issue, and payment once installation is accepted by the customer. In order to ensure a high quality installation, all installers sub-contracted by MRKT doors are required to agree to and uphold the MRKT Doors “Installers code of conduct”:
Installers Code of Conduct:
Any installation partner, who installs a door sold by Aiden Lewis t/a MRKT, is bound to the following code of conduct. Any installer acknowledges that all installations will be followed-up on to ensure compliance with this conduct and customer satisfaction with the installation experience.
Client Interactions:
-Installers will always treat customers in a professional and friendly way;
-Installers will always introduce themselves on the telephone and on arrival at a customer’s site;
-Installers and their staff will always be as presentable as possible, given the nature of their work, when dealing with customers;
-Installers will be prompt and honor appointments made with customers;
-Installers will always treat a customer’s site with respect, as they are guests at the client’s site.
Site Conduct:
-Installers will clean up all packaging material from the product(s) being installed before departing the customer’s site;
-Installers will clear up all materials that are removed from old door installations and store them as neatly as possible in a place agreed on by the client;
-The installer will not leave any litter on the customer’s site;
-The installer will exercise care in not causing any un-necessary or avoidable damage to the client’s property during the installation;
Workmanship:
-Installers will ensure they carry the correct tools and equipment required to perform a quality installation;
-Installers will endeavor to use their skills and experience to provide the best possible installation service for a customer;
-Installers will provide and honor a 12 month warranty on their workmanship as a show of confidence in the service they provide to customers;
After an installation is completed, MRKT doors will follow-up on the service provided by the installer.
- Automation of Garage Doors
Doors sold and installed by MRKT Doors can also be automated for customers. MRKT doors supplies on Centurion roller door motors and performs all automations on our doors in a manner and using an automation kit approved by the door manufacturer.

Factory Completeness and Manufacture Guarantee:
All MRKT Doors sold, regardless of grade and whether they are sold for DIY installations or for installation by a MRKT installer, carry a factory-backed guarantee to be complete (having all parts included) and manufactured to be free of mechanical defects that would render the door functionally defective.
12-Month Workmanship Warranty:
Any MRKT Door installation carries a 12-month warranty on the workmanship provided by our installation partners.
12-Month Material Warranty:
Any product installed by MRKT Doors carries a 12-month warranty against material defects.
