In this training we'll show you the new country-specific content and functionality available with Release 11, that will extend the coverage for 8 European Tier 1 Localizations.
Validation of the National Identifier was introduced for Austria, Denmark, Finland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Sweden. Moreover, country-specific values for different attributes in the Employment Information area are delivered for Austria, Kazakhstan, and Poland.

Let’s continue by going over the specific content and functionalities delivered for the different Tier 1 Localizations.
For Austria, new functionality includes validation of the Social Insurance Number. This means that a warning message is triggered if the entered number doesn’t meet the required format or the check digit validation.
Then, the delivered content includes predefined values for the Contract Type, as part of Employment information.

For Denmark, new functionality brings validation of the CPR Number, the Danish National Identifier. In this slide you can see what happens if the check digit validation is not met, while the screenshot below shows a correct value of the national identifier.

Validation of the national identifier is also available with this release for Finland. In this slide you have an example of a valid number entered for an employee of a given gender and date of birth. If the entered national identifier doesn’t respect the format nor verification code requirements, a warning message will be triggered.

Here is some additional helpful information. Be aware that if customers have already created legal entities for a country which is now delivered, they will need to verify their data after the upgrade.
Please also refer to the Release Content Document for Global Human Resources to get an overview of all new features delivered with this release and My Oracle Support for the latest status of translations.
Customers should review the Global Human Resources documentation when they implement the Tier 1 Localization functionality.
Finally, whilst customers have access to the Global Human Resources BI reporting, they will need to create their own country specific reports.
