Pricing and Payment Policy

ABCPre-school intends to price pre-school sessions fairly and in line with other local, similar facilities. Fees will revised regularly to ensure that ABCPre-school remains a sustainable organisation able to provide high quality early years education for your child.

Deposit

ABC will require a registration fee for all new starters. This is a fixed amount to be paid for all children which may be increased in line with fees. The registration fee is currently £30.

  • If a child does not start at ABC the fee is non-refundable.
  • Uniform is issued as part of the registration process.

Payment

A invoice will be issued for each child at the start of each seasonal term (i.e. 3 times a year) detailing deposits paid and fees or top ups due

  • Fees are payable for a term in advance on a fixed date. This is detailed on the invoice.
  • Preferably fees should be paid via bank transfer, but fees can also be paid by cash or cheque made payable to “ABCPre-school”.

Review and Increase

  • Fees will be reviewed on an annual basis during Terms 5 and 6 (summer term).
  • Any increase will take effect from the beginning of Term 1 each academic year (start of autumn term)
  • Current fees charged by local, similar child-care facilities will be investigated to ensure that ABC’s fees are fair and in line with other pre-schools.
  • Parents will be notified in writing at least a half-term in advance of any increase taking effect.
  • ABC reserves the right to adjust fees at any time given reasonable cause. Families will be fully informed.

Session Fees

  • Children aged 2 years to 3 years: £13 per session
  • Children aged over 3 years: £12 per session
  • Lunchtime fee for those children staying all day 50p

Fee invoices will be given out in the first week of term.

Early Years Free Entitlement

Government Nursery Funding is available for older children. This funding starts at the beginning of the term after the child’s 3rd birthday and is currently for up to five 3 hour sessions per week. In order to claim your child’s government funding on your behalf at the appropriate time, we need to see a copy of their birth certificate. Please bring the birth certificate during the first week of pre-school to complete our records.

A child born between / Will be eligible for funding from:
1st April to 31st August (inclusive) / The start of the autumn term following their 3rd birthday (after summer holiday)
1st September to 31st December (inclusive) / The start of the spring term following their 3rd birthday (after Christmas holiday)
1st January to 31st March (inclusive) / The start of the summer term following their 3rd birthday (after spring holiday)

Notice

  • In the event of your child leaving ABC, 4 weeks notice is required. Fees are payable for this period. If fees are not paid for this period, your deposit will be used as part payment for the outstanding amount.
