The dmDickasonOpen Invitational of the Southwest is a show offered by McJenterprizes and is not sponsored or produced by any of the participating clubs or associations.

General Show Rules

Open horses will show in Jr. and /or Sr. classes. Eligibility goes to the horse

Amateur riders will show in age group classes. Eligibility goes to the horse- and designated eligible rider/exhibitor combination.

No cross entries between walk/trot, jog and walk/trot, jog/canter, lope class for same horse/exhibitor combination within the samediscipline.

Select Six is the top 6 horses of each class

Champion and Reserve come from Select Six

Paybacks will be made on 100% of the Entry fee per class to the Select Six

40% Grand 20% Reserve 10% each remaining 4 places

Fees:

Office Fee $10

Entry Fee $15 Judges Fee $10 Total $25 per class

Stall Fee: $20

Stalling is limited and will be reserved for out of town guests first.

Paybacks for every class will be mailed within 14 days. In the event of insufficient funds check paid for show fees - all prizes and paybacks are forfeited and a $50 processing fee will be added.

Rule infractions and/or challenges submitted during the show or within 3 days following the show will hold all paybacks for the class or classes affected until McJ enterprizes has determined the outcome. Said determination to be made within ten days from final day of show. McJ enterprizes shall have the absolute and undisputed final say in determining the outcome of any such dispute and/or grievances on any matter whatsoever.

The age of a Youth or Amateur competitor on January 1st shall be maintained throughout the calendar year and will determine the age group in which that person will compete.

Exhibitors will be disqualified if assisted by electronic audio aids while showing in a class. Exception: An exhibitor with special needs

must present a letter stating the accommodations necessary and classes to be exhibited in. Show Management shall inform the judges of any special accommodations being used.

We ask that all Challenge Riders have a sponsor check in at the office before entering their first class.

Classes will run in order listed. Anyone requiring a tack change must notify the gate person at least one class prior to the change.

Thirty (30) second gate calls will be enforced. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to be at the entry gate when class is called

Tack change holds must be submitted to gate 2 classes ahead of hold

Course pattern will be posted a minimum of one (1) hour prior to the class. Show management will determine the working order.

The show committee has the right to interpret AND ACT ON all questions regarding the show, the horse show office will not be able to cash personal checks.

All classes will be conducted in accordance with the current APHA, AQHA, NRHA, AHA, USEF respectively rule book.

Stock horse classes will run under ASHA rules

All rules of the show facility must be adhered to by all exhibitors and guests.
