All handlers must be WAPA members or pay $20 Associate membership which covers insurance. (Insurance is liability insurance only not personnel accident insurance).

  • All Hay/manure to be collected & disposed of before leaving grounds.
  • NO DOGS on grounds.
  • Drinks and Food available on the day.
  • All owners of exhibits must be current financial members with the breed society when required by society rules.
  • All exhibits must be registered with their individual breed society.
  • Handlers of exhibits must follow appropriate breed society rules.
  • Entries will be taken on the day, but pre entry is preferable.
  • If you can help out at the show, please contact a committee member, we really appreciate all volunteer efforts.
  • Any sponsorship for the show is extremely appreciated, and is guaranteed to go directly to competitors.
  • Stallions and Colts must be under control at all times and have suitable and substantial headgear and the age of handler must be 18 years of age or over.
  • (If a stallion gets loose due to the headgear the owner will be held responsible for any damages caused).
  • Handler’s age shall be the age on the day of competition.
  • Horses/Ponies with dual registrations may compete in ALL eligible events AND Other Registered Breeds only if your registration is not covered in any of the rings.
  • NO PENDING REGISTRATIONS will be accepted and copies of papers and memberships must be sent with pre-entries and copies to be supplied with entries on the day.
  • Protests to be submitted 30mins from the conclusion of the event, with a $100 fee. Ground jury decision will be final and cannot be protested. Refunds will only occur on the protest being upheld
  • PLEASE DON’T BE LATE FOR YOUR EVENT!! Please be ready and waiting ring side for your classes. Classes will be called 3 times and gates will be CLOSED after this. Please be aware of the events/breeds currently being judged in your rings so you DO NOT miss your class. It is your responsibility to check where rings are up too – due to amount of entries breed times will differ from ring to ring.
  • IMPORTANT MESSAGE Sometimes due to large amount of entries a complete breed may be moved from one ring to another, if a Judge has finished and there is still a long wait in your ring this may occur towards the end of the program.
  • **Unregistered Horse or Pony is ineligible to compete in Grand Champion Junior and Supreme of Supreme Horse or Pony**
