Dear Parents/Guardians and Students:
The Aurora High School Guidance Department is pleased to be hosting a Post-Secondary Information Evening on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 from 6:30 p.m. -8:30p.m.at Aurora High School.
We have partnered with our neighbouring schools to put on this event: Dr. G. W. Williams Secondary School, St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic High School and Cardinal Carter Catholic High School. The Post-Secondary Information Evening is open to all families and students from the four partnered schools. Carpooling is encouraged. Wheelchair access is located at the north east corner of the school (please inform us prior to the event should you need assistance in this regard).
Representatives from over 50 universities and colleges will be on hand to answer questions concerning your son or daughter’s post-secondary education options. Program calendars and other publications will be available for families. The format of the evening will be “fair” style; parents and students may spend the evening speaking with representatives from various post-secondary institutions. Please see the reverse side of this letter for a list of the participating colleges and universities.
Students, our hope is that the evening is informative and helpful to you as you begin to consider your education objectives after high school. We look forward to seeing you and your parents/guardians on October 28, 2015.
If you require further information about this event, please contact our Guidance Secretary at 905-727-3107, extension 163.
Sincerely,
Michele Notaro, Guidance Department Head
