Position – Technical Solutions Engineer

Responsibilities:

  • A TSE works with Slice’s product and engineering teams to support our internal and external partners and customers. A TSE is an expert in our systems and can:
  • Excel at communication between internal customer and product development teams.
  • Triage and debug issues that are reported.
  • Distinguish bugs from misunderstandings.
  • Distinguish broad reaching problems from rare edge cases.
  • Identify workarounds to quickly resolve issues, and keep teams updated on the workarounds and ETA for the fixes.
  • Manage relationships with 3rd party services for phone, fax and email and advocate the importance of redundancy and automation / backup systems.
  • Advocate for important features by understanding fully our product (Internal operations, consumer and restaurants)
  • Be able to fully support and be part of a software testing process (Internal operations, consumer and restaurants)
  • Develop processes for managing feature requests from internal customers.
  • Build workflows, and manage integrations between applications.
  • Be responsible for the ticketing systems, and all communication systems.
  • Be responsible for managing and developing the slicelife.mk website.

Requirements:

  • At least 1 year of work experience in the field.
  • Above average verbal and written English skills.
  • Ability to analyze and leverage large amounts of data, information, and bug reports.
  • Ability to work with remote teams, across timezones and offices, and execute strategies to improve workflows.
  • A degree in technology sciences, or business is needed.
  • Knowledge in programming languages (SQL, Python, HTML, Rails) is a plus.
  • Experience and knowledge in QA of software is a plus too.
  • Ability to perform in teams, and have very good problem solving skills.
