  3. Highlight the entire problem, set font size to 16, set your line spacer on 2.0 and set the first tab as a left aligned tab on your ruler at ½”
  4. Wherever the longest item in the first column ends measure over 1” and set another left aligned tab on your ruler (make sure everything is still highlighted)
  5. Equal out your left and right margins by adding the distance between 0 on your ruler and the first tab (1/2”) and the distance from where the longest item in the last column ends and 6½ on ruler. Each tick on your ruler represents 1/8”. Take the total and divide it by two (2) and that is where your first tab should be set. If you end up moving your first tab 3/8” (3 tick marks) left then you must also move all subsequent tabs 3/8” (3 tick marks) left so the distance between the columns remains equal. Make sure everything is highlighted to perform this step.
  6. Go to Page Layout: Page Setup, Layout, Vertical Alignment, Chose Center
  7. Insert: Header , put name at left, tab and put on the Period, tab and type the problem file name.

Steps for using tabs in tables can be found at under the Notes, Forms, Rubrics and Reviews link on my home page.
