As a volunteer most of the programmes will last for up to 12 weeks. As a leader there will be opportunities between 12 weeks – 12 months. Being able to go overseas for at least 12 weeks is a requirement of the programme.

All ICS volunteers and team leaders will be asked to make every effort to fundraise a minimum target of £800. This is a key part of your preparation of going overseas, to help you start to understand what you will be doing and why. Although fundraising is a requirement of the programme, no volunteers will be excluded because of cost. Help will be provided to all ICS volunteers and team leaders to support fundraising efforts.
