PBSO GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

OCTOBER 17TH, 2017

LOCATION: PATRIOT HS CHORUS ROOM

WELCOME: KAROLYN GARDNER

DIRECTOR’S COMMENTS: DAVID VAN GELDER

  • The Band has received many compliments for their performances both in competition as well as for playing Pep Band music in the stands at football games.
  • Continue to check website and calendar for everything band related beyond Marching Band Season. PBSO supports all bands.
  • November 29th is All County Band auditions and December 9th is All District Band auditions. Auditions for All District Band will be early in the day and will not conflict with late day Parade in Nokesville on Dec. 9th.
  • After VBODA, there will be three parades. Watch the calendar for information.
  • After VBODA, there will be a reduction in practices. It is likely there won’t be any evening practices.
  • Make sure the kids are dressing smart for the weather. Long Johns or Under Armour type garments allowed under uniforms. Sweatpants are not as they are too bulky.
  • Please continue to keep Mr. Van Gelder in the loop regarding any absences with post season games and parades.
