  1. Classify the type of business you are developing (partnership or corporation)

PARTNERSHIP- An association of two or more people to carry-on as co-owners of a business for profit.

CORPORATION- An organization formed under a state statue for the purpose of carrying on an enterprise in such a way as to make the enterprise distinct from the persons who control it.

  1. Select a Name for your Business- must be original
  1. Using Microsoft Word -Wordprocessor and Clip Art, design a Want Ad also include an Employment Application (include a logo and a motto)

  1. Using Microsoft Word- Wordprocessor —Create a Letter of Application and Resume

(every member in your group should have a Resume and Letter of Application that states their qualifications for that position in the group portfolio folder.)

  1. Using Microsoft Word -Wordprocessor Create Guidelines, Rules and Regulations for your business. (visit companies or businesses and ask for a copy of their guidelines for a class project). Please make sure the guidelines follow the type of business you are operating.

  1. Using database Software, Create a mailing list of clients. (They can be your friends and family members) telephone numbers, addresses, city, state, and zip codes must be included.

10. Using Spreadsheet—Create a Chart representing a Price List. (show the price of products being offered)

11. Write a Report on your business

*What is the precise nature of your business?

*How have you developed your products and services? Give a brief history

*What are the economic trends? For example—Give evidence that spending trends are favorable to the industry.

*What is the organizational detail of your business?

*State precisely who the consumer of your products or service are.

*Note the geological scope of your market, including size and population.

*Consider the growth potential of your target market.

*Evaluate your ability to satisfy the market’s demands

*Know how your business plan will enable you to attract new customers while keeping the customers you have.

*How will you advertise?

12. Report Formatted as a bound report. Minimum of 2 references must be cited in the report.

13. Use of correct grammar, English Usage and Spelling.

14. Report—2pages long—Type and Print the report

15. Create a Cover page for report, eachgroup member name should be on the first page.
