June Specialty

I think we are in good shape for the Specialty. Some of us have started handing out "Save the Date" cards at events, as an experiment to gain entries. I'll bring some cards to Winterfest for anyone who might want some. In the meantime email Lynn or me if you want to print your own.

Also ofcourse the raffle isn't going to stock itself so while you're shopping for your Winterfest perfect gift,I hope you grab some raffle stuff too.

2015 Dues

Single Membership - $40.00

Husband and Wife - $50.00

Membership dues are payable on or beforeJanuary 1st. No member may vote whose dues are not paid for the current year. A membership will be considered lapsed if a member's dues remain unpaid by April 1, 2014.

(and don’t forget to add a little money for the raffle!)

A Recipe for Your Dog

KHAKIE'S VEGETABLE AND POTATO PIZZA

7 oz. potato dumpling mixture

oil for greasing

2 tomatoes

3 1/2 oz button mushrooms

2 oz peas

1 can tuna fish in water or oil not brine

3 1/2 oz mozzarella cheese

1 small onion

Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F

Press the prepared potato dumpling mixture into a greased pizza dish and draw up the edges.

Slice the tomatoes and button mushrooms, and place on the dumpling mixture. Add the peas

and tuna fish. Dice the mozzarella cheese into small cubes, slice the onion, and spread both over the pizza.

Bake for about 30 minutes in the hot oven.Allow to cool and cut into bite-sized pieces. Feed in portions.

If you are eligible for an award for 2014 please get me your info as soon as possible. If you have an old style plaque, the kind with the plates with the white tape on them, please bring me the entire plaque. The new style plates DO NOT fit the old plaques properly. It is MUCH easier for our engraver to make adjustments to plates to fit plaques if she has the whole thing. If anyone has any questions please feel free to contact me via e-mail or by phone

We know there are members who cannot attend our June specialty but want to help us maintain our excellent reputation as great hosts! In order to make money to put on the spectacular event that we are known for, we need more good “stuff” for the raffle. Please consider donating money specifically for the raffle, when you pay your dues. Any amount would help us buy some great items that will be sought after on the raffle table! $$$$$
