Technological ingenuity: Mondial DMC launches new website, including integrated search engine for tour suggestions and travel itineraries

Mondial Destination Management presents the newly designed website http://mondial-travel.com/en, including an innovative technological coup: the new “Tours Tool”, an online search engine for tour and itinerary suggestions throughout Central Europe. Furthermore, the DMC team shortly introduce themselves, and in a new blog, they continuously reveal their personal insider tips.

“During the website construction phase, we set value on technological innovations, in addition to a facilitated navigation”, according to Mag. Wolfgang Lackner, Managing Director Destination Management. By means of a clear page layout - and by one click only – the user can see, which services Mondial Destination Management offers, which technological interfaces are available, or who is the proper contact person.

Online search engine for tour and travel itineraries throughout Central Europe

With this new Tours Tool, incoming agencies, individual tourists or travel agencies can easily look for tour and itinerary suggestions throughout Central Europe, all of them assembled and elaborated by Mondial DMC experts from the local branch offices in the Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary and Austria. In addition, the searching process can be facilitated by choosing from various topics, such as Music, Culinary, Shopping & Lifestyle, or by selecting “City or Round Trips”.

“The Mondial Tours Tool contains and combines insight destinational knowledge from the local DMC teams”, Lackner emphasizes. “With the new DMC website, we not only intended to present the new tool, moreover we wanted to foreground our most essential competences: personal and most professional service, as well as 50 years of experience”, Lackner adds. Therefore, an individual team website is devoted to the 50 DMC team members only.

Many faces, many languages: an international team of experts presents themselves

On the new website, the multilingual team of experts is represented individually - by single portraits, short personal profiles and their own travel tips. This personal touch is even intensified by an additional feature, the new blog. “Thus, we want to continuously and actively embed the whole team online, but also to inform users about exciting news and insider tips on a regular basis”, Lackner explains.

Foresight: a Do-It-Yourself? Tool for travel and incentive programmes

In 2017, the new Tours Tool will be expanded even more. Users will then have the possibility to set up their travel or incentive programmes on their own, by means of a modular component system. Of course, the Mondial team will still assist with their expertise, also providing the finishing touch to these assembled itineraries. “It should be a combination of a “Do-It-Yourself-Tool” with personal assistance by Mondial experts”, Lackner concludes.
