Oct 23 Laboratory (MSL)

The MSL Draft Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) was published in

the Federal Register and Environmental Protection Agency notice the week of Sept. 8th beginning the public comment period that ends Oct. 23. Public Meetings are scheduled for Cocoa Beach, FL on September 27 and Washington, DC on October 10. POC is K.Kumor/348-1112

Sep 29 - NEPA Action – Advanced Radioisotope Power Systems (ARPS)

Oct 29 The Notice of Availability (NOA) of the Final Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement (FPEIS) for ARPS will be published in the Federal Register on September 29. This will start the 30 day public comment period after which the Record of Decision will be issued.

Sep 29 - NEPA Action – Constellation

Nov 13 The Notice of Intent (NOI) to prepare a Programmatic EIS for the Constellation Program will be published in the Federal Register the week of September 29th. Public scoping meetings are scheduled to be held starting October 16 in Cocoa Beach, FL, Washington DC, and Salt Lake City, UT. The public comment period ends November 13. POC is K.Kumor/348-1112

Sep - CRM Action – Space Shuttle Program (SSP) Assets

Dec 06 Progress continues in the Agencywide survey of NASA facilities that have supported the SSP. The purpose of the surveys is to determine historic eligibility in accordance with the National Historic Preservation Act. All surveys are scheduled to be completed by the end of 2006. POC is

The ASC, previously known as Administrative Issues Conference, will be held in the Washington, DC area. The conference will coincide with the Agency October OMC. The conference brings together senior administrative, functional, and institutional managers from every Center, and representatives from the HQ MDs and MSOs to discuss issues affecting the administrative, institutional, business management and operation areas of the Agency. I&A/HQ Equal Opportunity & Diversity Management will promote NASA and provide support at a College Fair hosted by the National Council of Negro Women. The event is targeted to at-risk and disadvantaged minority high school youth, and will feature representatives from approx. 80 various colleges and universities; as well as workshops and seminars geared towards higher education. Nov 1 American Indian and Alaska Native Heritage Month

Federally recognized event.
