Shoot, Swim, Run and Fence
A training course will take place at Casteron School, Kirby Lonsdale from Monday afternoon 2.00 pm until Thursday afternoon 3.00 pm. The course will consist of top class professional tuition in Shooting, Swimming and Running plus a chance to receive instruction in Fencing. The course is open to all Pony Club and Pentathlon GB Members who are in Secondary Education. This a very physical course and the children are quite tired at the end of the day – consideration will be given to those in the last year of Juniors, but parents must be aware of the physical exercise that will be required, together with in some cases days away from home, and the last thing we want is for children to feel overwhelmed and homesick and not enjoy the Course. We are also offering a day course for younger children on Tuesday and/or Wednesday and would be delighted for younger children to join us on those days, and we can put them in the appropriate groups. There are only a limited number of places available and these will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Allchildren will be grouped in ability. The cost of the course is £190 for the residential course and £60 per day for the non residential course.. This includes all meals, tuition, and use of the facilities including laundry for the duration of the course.

It is important that all Members attending the camp acknowledge the need for responsible behaviour at all times. Please note that due to the practical nature of the course and the School and Pony Club Policy, NO ALCOHOL and NO SMOKING will be permitted. For the avoidance of doubt, anyone found to be behaving in an inappropriate manner will be asked to leave.

Medical Emergency
Every possible precaution will be taken to ensure the safety of those attending the course. Emergency First Aid trained adults are in attendance throughout the duration of the course, and in case of emergency, appropriate assistance will be summoned by the most suitable means available.
I agree to my son/daughter receiving emergency medical attention including anaesthetic as is considered necessary by the medical authorities. I understand the extent and limit of the insurance cover provided by the Pony Club.
