4)PART BRED or ANGLO ARAB- yearling, 2 or 3 year old, any sex

YOUNG RIDER CLASSES

6a) YOUNG HANDLER – 16 years and under on show day, any breed

b) YOUNG RIDER- 16 years or under on show day in –includes lead rein ponies – any breed of horse/pony,- neck straps are permitted

These classes are judged as Equitation classes.

northern Arabian Horse Show Rules and Regulations

The Northern Arabian Spring Horse Show is affiliated to the Arab Horse Society and is conducted in accordance with the Show Rules and Regulations of this organisation. Copies of rules/regulations are available on request with SAE from the Show Secretary, or alternatively from each respective website.
All exhibits must be registered in their appropriate Stud Book/Register of the Arab Horse Society by the closing date of entry. Horses that currently contain 12.5% and over of Arab blood may be shown in Part Bred Arab classes. – This excludes lead rein and young rider classes.
No person other than show officials and competitors are allowed in the show ring at any time.
No claims can be entertained for anything that may happen to competitors, onlookers or their property servants or animals in connection with, or arising from this show. It shall be deemed a condition of entry that each entrant shall agree to indemnify the promoters whatsoever.
The judge’s decision is final.
Depending on the number of entries received classes may be divided, amalgamated or cancelled at the discretion of the ShowCommittee.
Any horse that leaves the ring after entering for judging or before the end of the class will be counted as eliminated.

No person shall be mounted on a horse on the showground unless he/she is wearing a correctly fitting hard hat. The AHS strongly recommend that hats conform to the standards EN1384 or PAS 015 and are correctly fitted with chinstraps.
The committee reserve the right to refuse entry or expel from the show, any person who does not obey the requests of the Show Officials.
Age of all exhibits will date as from 1st January in year of birth.
No entry will be accepted without the correct entry fee. Entry fees are neither refundable nor transferable to another class.

13) Riders must only ‘work in’ in the designated areas.

14) Dogs are not permitted on the showground and are the responsibility of the owner if brought to the show and must remain in the horsebox/trailer.

15) Requests to delay classes/ enter the ring must be made to the Steward/Judge, not the Show Secretary

16) All entries are taken as an acceptance of the above rules and conditions.

17) Unpaid cheques taken as payment will result in disqualification from future Northern Group Shows until the Group is reimbursed with funds and costs incurred, and details will be passed onto the AHS.

DIRECTIONS TO NORTHALLERTON EQUESTRIAN CENTRE

From the North or South A1

Take the LEEMING BAR A684 turnoff, follow signs towards Northallerton.

After about 5 and a half miles there is a brown signpost left to Northallerton Equestrian Centre, take this left turn. The centre is signposted off this road to the left again, just before the village of Yafforth.

STALLION PARADE during the Lunch break. Horses must be entered before the day £20 per horse.
