  1. Youth Community Network Report
/ Marie reported that Red Cross have been approached by some mothers around concerns for young people. ICE and Mental Health issues mentioned, big issues need to be addressed, it is not just schools that need better support. We need to do better. Schools half the picture, community and service providers the other part of the puzzle. Margie is also seeing results of ICE usage and has concerns. Paediatric Mental Health – our state has no capacity, Teresa Pocket, also spoke about Mental Health issues for young children. The amount of easy access to alcohol, weapons and drugs is of concern. All things are connected. Case by case approach needed as well as a community approach. We haven’t got all the skills needed.
Maree Fudge spoke about the need for the Collective Impact group to meet more regularly, we need to define what we are talking about, what do we want to work on, drugs, mental health and trauma. Early Years meet on the same day as Brighton Alive- 1.30-3. It was agreed that the Collective Impact Group will meet after Brighton Alive meeting 11.30 to 12.30 (Cathy to check meeting place and advise).
