I am requesting deferment of mySummer Session(s)tuition and agree to the terms and conditions of the NJCU 2016SummerTuition Deferment Plan. I understand that this request is specific to:

The following guidelines apply to my participation in the NJCU 2016 Summer Session(s)Tuition Deferment Plan:
□I understand that this deferment is allowing me to use my anticipated aid fromFall 2016 to cover my Summer Session 2016 charges and that Fall 2016 expected aid is enough to cover both Summerand Fall tuition balance.
□I agree to pay $100.00 tuition deposit at the time of submitting the application (will be applied towards tuition).
□I understand that to participate in the deferment program, I must be a continuing undergraduate or graduate NJCU student, who has completed at least one semester (including Spring 2016) of enrollment at the University at the time of this application.
□I understand that any past due balances need to be cleared prior to being approved for the Summer Session(s) tuition deferment.
□I agree that I must have a minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA (undergraduate) or 3.0 cumulative GPA (graduate).
□I understand that I must meet the credit requirement for the Fall 2016 in order for my Financial Aid awards to be disbursed for my Fall 2016 term.
□I agree to permit NJCU to utilize Fall 2016 financial aid disbursements (i.e. Federal Stafford Loans, grants, scholarships, etc.) to pay Summer Session(s) 2016 tuition and fees.
□I acknowledge and understand that if for some reason my anticipated aid/loans are not disbursed or are not sufficient to cover both terms, I will be responsible to pay the outstanding balance by October 3, 2016.
□I have completed the 2016-17 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). (Undergraduates only)
□Any student that has defaulted on a prior year Summer Session deferment will not be eligible to utilize this deferment arrangement again.
□If I withdraw from Fall 2016 classesand my Financial Aid award is affected, any balance becomes dueand payable immediately.
