It has been well known that numbers on rallies are down and rallying is perhaps falling out of favour. The following is just a chance for you to tell us what you want. What is missing? Why you have stopped rallying? Please let us know what you think so we can understand what ralliers would like.

Price of rallies:

  • The cost of a rally should be the same every week and balanced out throughout the year
  • Rallies should be paid daily, so if you can only make it on a Saturday you don’t pay for the full weekend.
  • The money raised from raffle etc. should offset the cost of a rally.

What are your thoughts & ideas?

Locations of rallies:

  • Do we have a fine balance of rallies in the right areas.
  • We should have more rallies on sites.

What are your thoughts?

Socials on rallies:

  • Rallies should have some form of social.
  • Social should be funded separately.
  • Social should be funded from rally fee.

What are your ideas?

Facilities on rallies:

  • We should look for more venues with electric.
  • Most rallies should be near a bus route.

Plaques:

The Centre spends a lot of money on plaques not all are used, should we:

  • Not hand out plaques.
  • Charge for plaques.
  • Only hand out plaques if indicated on rally slip.
  • Buy a machine like North Yorkshire, have credit card sized plaques & save money.

Ideas welcome:

Marshalls:

  • Should we have volunteer’s that set up early for Marshalls that want to run a rally but can’t get to set it up early enough?
  • Is the paper work rally returns easy enough to use?
