Objectives: Students will write numbers that are 1 more or 1 less and 10 more or 10 less than a two-digit number.

Students will use a hundred chart to show 1 more than, 1 less than, 10 more than, 10 less than a two-digit number.

Students will compare two-digit numbers using symbols.

Students will order numbers from least to greatest and greatest to least.

Students will complete reteaching packet pages 319-320 and discuss, check/correct their work on this packet.

Thursday Math-- Topic 9: Comparing and Ordering Numbers to 100 Study Guide packet pages 321-322

Common Core Standards: 1.NBT.5, 1.NBT.4, 1.NBT.3, 1.NBT.1

Objectives: Students will write numbers that are 1 more or l less and 10 more and 10 less than a two-digit number.

Students will use a hundred chart to show 1 more than, 1 less than, 10 more than, and 10 less than a given number.

Students will compare two-digit numbers using models. Students will order numbers from least to greatest. Students will make organized lists to solve problems.

Students will complete work with partner on the study guide, then discuss, check/correct their work on the study guide. Students will take the study guide home to study for test tomorrow.

Friday Math—Topic 9: Comparing and Ordering Numbers to 100 Assessment

Common Core Standards: 1.NBT.5, 1.NBT.4, 1.NBT.3, 1.NBT.1

Students will complete multiple choice and constructed response questions pertaining to comparing and ordering numbers to 100.
