MINUTES – REGULAR MEETING – MARCH 24, 2015

The regular meeting of the Campbell City Schools’ Board of Education was held at 7:00 p.m. at Memorial High School in Room 310. President Beth Donofrio presided and led in the Pledge of Allegiance.

A moment of silence was held for William Livosky, community member, who recently passed away.

The following members were present to roll call: Mr. Gary Bednarik, Mr. Richard Gozur Sr., Mr. Tony Kelly, Mr. Bill Valentino, and Mrs. Beth Donofrio.

The treasurer presented the minutes of the regular meeting held February 25, 2015, subject to any corrections or omissions.

VIII.RESOLUTION #2015-44: : It is recommended by the superintendent to the Board of Education that it approve a StudentTracker Agreement between Eastern Ohio P-16 Partnership for Education (DBA Eastern Ohio Education Partnership) and the Campbell City School District to provide a nationwide, central repository of information on student enrollment, degrees, diplomas, certificates, and other educational achievements. XIX.RESOLUTION #2015-55: It is recommended by the superintendent to the Board of Education that it approve an agreement between the Campbell City School District and United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley to provide a three-week, Pre-K Summer Intervention program funded through sources provided by the district and United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley. The program outline is as follows: As part of a broader, more comprehensive Success by 6 initiative to address the needs of children in our community, United Way of Youngstown and Mahoning Valley will offer financial support in the amount of $4,500.00 x 2 = $9,000.00 for (at minimum) a three-week, five days per week, four hours per day summer program offered during the summer of 2015-2016.
