Target Audience

This program has been designed for physicians, QI professionals, professional nurses, advanced practice nurses, and administrators in the medical specialties of allergy and immunology, anesthesiology, emergency medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, radiology, surgery, ENT, urology, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, OMFS, and ophthalmology.

Series Educational Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be able to:

• Complete the medication reconciliation accurately and completely
• Recognize and plan for efficiency in the operating room
• Identify and apply institutional protocols for PE prophylaxis
