Kathy Donovan– no stranger to our group! – is currently the senior compliance counsel for Wolters Kluwer Financial Services’ Insurance Compliance Solutions group, where she focuses on researching legislative and regulatory activity to help increase awareness and understanding of compliance issues affecting insurers. With more than 20 years of insurance regulatory experience and expertise under her belt, Kathy frequently pensrelevant articles of interest to industry publications such as Insurance Networking News, National Underwriter,Insurance Compliance Insight, Best’s Review, Global Finance, andInsurance & Technology. She also has presented numerous times on a variety of industry topics at various industry events including ACLI, AICP (Chapters and National), ACE Claims, and LHCA meetings.
Kathy will provide us with a look back at 2014, its “hot topics” and enforcement issues. And, with 2015 just around the corner, she will peer into the legislative and regulatory future and anticipate what might be in store for our industry – including touching on topics such as electronic compliance challenges, New England states’ experiences, and/or “CAT” issues (after the storm stuff), as time permits.
Following the presentation by Ms. Donovan, a “plated” holiday feast will be served, featuring:

And what better way to foster friendship, fun and good will than by indulging in one of New England’sgreat seasonal traditions – also back by popular demand, the good ol’ fashioned Yankee Swap! (But this year, with a twist. . . we’ll just let you be surprised!!)
Yes, this will afford us a true networking opportunity as we enjoy one of the timeless traditions of New England life! And since your Planning Committee is providing all of the gifts, there is nothing for you to do but show up for a good time!
