LITTLE Art Workshop 2017-2018

“Little Art Workshop” will be starting at Summit View Academy!!! This program is offered by the SVAArt Department and is open to all 3rdgrade students-Fall Session, 2nd grade students-Winter Session, and mixture of 2nd and 3rd grade students-Spring Session. The Little Art Workshop will be on Mondays after school from 3:10 until 4:15. Dates may change depending upon District Snow Days!!!All sessions will be 6 weeks: --3RD GRADE CLASS—Nov./Dec./Jan. (FALL SESSION #1)–Nov. 20, Dec. 4, 11, 18, Jan.8, 22.

--2ND GRADE CLASS—Jan./Feb./Mar. (WINTER SESSION #2)–Jan. 29, Feb. 5, 12, 26, Mar. 5, 12.

--2nd+3rd GRADE CLASS—Mar./Apr. (SPRING SESSION #3) –Mar. 19, 26, Apr.2, 16, 23, 30.

18 spaces will be available for each of the classes. PLEASE SIGN UP QUICKLY TO MAKE SURE THAT YOU WILL HAVE A PLACE IN THE CLASS. ACCEPTANCE IS ON A 1ST COME, 1ST SERVE BASIS. THEME: 2-d and 3-d Art

ALL 2nd & 3rd GRADE STUDENTS WHO WISH TO JOIN THE ART WORKSHOP SHOULD PLAN TO ATTEND ALL OF THE CLASSES IN THEIR SESSION -THERE MAY BE A WAITING LIST SO IF A STUDENTIS UNABLE TO ATTEND, THEN A NOTE EXPLAINING THE ABSENCE IS NEEDED. 2 absences only, please!

PARENTS MUST PICK UP THEIR CHILDREN AT 4:15 ON THE SCHEDULED MONDAYS. Students who are not picked up on time will be dismissed from the art workshop after the 2nd late pick-up. Discipline issues will result in immediate dismissal from the workshop.

Instead of the usual $5.00 SUPPLY FEE-I would appreciate a donation of 1 item from the ART WISH-LIST in exchange for the $5.00 fee-I will give you a list of items when your child is confirmed in the workshop!–Simple art materials are listed on the “Wish List”.

To sign up for Art Workshop: 1. COMPLETE THE PERMISSION SLIP. Your child will be in the session for their grade level. 2. HAND-DELIVER OR EMAIL TO MRS.EMILY STAMM-RM. 115-BY Weds. Nov.8th. 3. MRS. STAMM WILL CONTACT ALL STUDENTS-confirming all members in each session.The ART WISH-LIST will be given to each student upon confirmation of class. ------
