The ideal safe place to pick up and drop off your child when he/she is not riding the bus, is on the south side of the building, on Pacific. Early Release Fridays

Our School Board recently approved 12 early release Fridays. These dates and times were jointly agreed upon by SEA and District Leadership at the bargaining table to provide an interruption-free professional/peer development time while providing minimal disruption to families. Educators expressed a need for the time to work together uninterrupted in the school day to work on grade-level, building-level and district level directed initiatives. It is time for educators and the staff that support them to review what is working in their classrooms with their peers as well as for principals as educational leaders to have the undivided attention of staff in building wide initiatives.

On early release Fridays, Libby students will be dismissed at 1:15 PM. These dates are:

September 30January 13March 24

October 28February 10April 14

November 18February 24April 28

December 2March 10May 19

Odyssey 8th Graders to take PSAT/NMSQ on Oct 19

It will take place on the morning of Oct 19, and will take approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes. The PSAT/NMSQT offers great preparation for the same test which isoffered their 11th grade year as well as the SAT. Students who take the PSAT/NMSQT in their third year of high school and meet other program entry requirements may enter the National Merit Scholarship Program. They may also qualify for other programs such as the National Hispanic Recognition Program. Students who take the test will get both an online score report at studentscores.collegeboard.org and an official paper score report. They will also get free, personalized, online SAT practice recommendations on Khan Academy, which can be used to prepare for the future PSAT/NMSQT because of the close alignment of the tests.
