  • Mayo level of support and process expectations
  • Mayo POC / MDA POC
  • Weekly status meeting?
/
  • Craig Stancl will be the one POC for Mayo
  • Nick Collins will be the one POC for MD Anderson
  • Should we have a weekly bring-up meeting? Yes, a 30 minute bi-weekly meeting. Craig Stancl will chair that meeting.
  • (Nick) What do we do about having a number to refer to each problem.
  • (Frank) said that we could have an additional tracker, but we have a feature and bug tracker already.
  • Craig said that we would get all issues into a GForge issue. Going forward we will write a new one for other issues.
  • Once we are in production, then what. (Frank) We have not had service level agreements in the past for production level code at organizations. KCs are commissioned to take care of minor bugs and help where can with doc etc. This is best level of effort due to funding issues. caBIG has set up the contract service centers. These are the experts that handle production level assistance. (Mike) They are not creating a commercial app but an enterprise wide 365/24/7 application. (Larry) Mentioned that over and above best level of effort usually costs money for a commercial application. Maybe they should approach Mayo with a contract. (Mike) Currently they are gathering data right now. (Mike) Asked who else has production environment and how do they get support. (Craig) GE (with support level contract), Mayo, NCI, Florida company.
  • What platforms can be supported now. (link provided to Nick)
  • There was discussion around Java 1.5. LexEVS scheduled end of year which supports 1.6. Right now we support only 1.5.
  • The primary tech stack turns out not to be supported according to the newly published VKC install documentation.
  • RHEL and CentOS are basically the same.
/
  • Craig, create each existing issue in GForge.
  • Craig, Get info about GE’s environment and send that to MD Anderson.
  • Craig, Create an issue for Java 1.5 versus 1.6 support. MD Anderson has a specific stack in mind.
  • Sina, Will get a list of the little terminology loading issues.
  • Craig, Set up bi-weekly meeting.

  • Review of MD Anderson schedule
/
  • Wanted service up by the end of August. Due to issues, this may be delayed.
  • Mayo will do all we can to help them get back on track

  • Issue: Test errors with Oracle 11g
/
  • Mayo needs to test with 11g driver. We have it installed now and trying to reproduce. Looks like a combination of the drivers and the DB that we had not tested.

  • Issue: Seg fault on Red Hat 64 bit
/
  • Mayo unable to reproduce. MD Anderson tried on a couple OSes with the same result.

  • Issue: Error building SQL query for Oracle
/
  • Mayo patch posted and queries run successfully. - Closed

  • Issue: Hibernate mappings for Oracle CLOB
/
  • GForge item created. Mayo has been able to reproduce this error.

  • Issue: Web service error
/
  • SOAP client not yet tested by customer. Provided contact information for .NET group.
  • MDA suggested potential use Access 2 instead of 1.

  • Issue: OWL loader mishandles annotations
/
  • Mayo preparing fixes. This could be more than just OWL. There are a number of little issues here. MD Anderson has a list, such as large OWL file, length of time to load. Sina will make a list.

  • Other Topics?
