Letter of Undertaking

1. I (name of applicant) ______(NRIC/FIN No) ______am undergoing IAL’s screening to determine my eligibility to proceed on to the Accelerated Learning Pathway (ALP) for the purpose of attaining the Diploma of Adult and Continuing Education (DACE).

1. I declare the following to be true:

1. I have completed a self-assessment of my eligibility to proceed with ALP screening using Accelerated DACE Self-Evaluation Questionnaire (DACE SEQ).
2. I understand that the self-evaluationis only meant to give me an indication of the screening criteria. Theself-evaluation resultsdo not guarantee theoutcome of the screening by IAL.
3. I attended the compulsory pre-screening briefing for DACE ALP andunderstand the screening process, requirements, and possible outcomes of the screening.
4. I am an experienced practitioner in the design and delivery of adult learning curriculum and/or courseware and will submit used and verified true copies of courseware in the screening.
5. The information and documents I will submitfor the registration of ALP DACE will be correct and complete and I will not wilfully suppress or falsify any information. I understand that any intent to misguide IAL’s decision will render myapplication null and void and could lead to disciplinary actions, including dismissal from the programme if I have been successfully enrolled; revocation of the DACE qualification if I have completed the programme and printed copies of Statement of Attainment and certificate have to be surrendered to IAL; suspension from subsequent registration for any IAL programmes for one year.
6. I understand the screening is an internal requirement by IAL to determine eligibility for attaining DACE qualification via ALP. It is not a formal assessment of my competence and credentials.
7. Should I be successfully enrolled into ALP DACE programme, I understand that the compressed curriculum will require me to undertake approximately 30h of pre-work prior (in total) to attend classroom training.
8. I understand that IAL will take every effort to place me in my preferred ALP DACEclass. However, this is subject to availability of places, which will be allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis at the time of my successful clearance of the screening.

1. Accept the outcome of the screening interviewwithout any further dispute.
2. Safeguardthe confidentiality of any assessment materials released to me for the sole purpose of the ALP. Any other use of such documents or parts thereof, including reproduction, publication, distribution, transmission, re-transmission or public showing, or storage in a retrieval system in any form, electronic or otherwise, for purposes other than that expressly stated above without the express permission of WDA is strictly prohibited.
3. Complete the ALP DACE programme core modules within 1 year from the date of receipt of the screening results if I am deemed eligible. I understand that the results of the screening are valid for 1 year. After the validity period, I would have to reapply for the ALP and be subjected to the prevailing terms and condition at the time of application.
