During your study of Unit 1, “Our Economic Environment,” you will learn about the customs and economy of another country. Requirements of this assignment will includeresearchingyour assigned country so that you can complete the following objectives:

Identify the economic system of the country

List the country’s primary natural resources

Explain some of the customs, traditions, and beliefs of the people

Identify the currencies of the country

Identify three of the country’s major imports and three major exports

To complete the assignment, choose from the following:

Based on your research, create either

a) a poster that answers the above objectives by featuringsimilarities and differences between the U.S. and the country you chose.

or b) a PowerPoint presentation that details what you learned. The presentation must include all of the above objectives and should also include facts and pictures.

Finally, make a recommendation for a new business that you think would be successful in that country. The business idea must be backed up/supported with facts learned from your research and must be part of your PowerPoint presentation (preferably at the conclusion).
