Description: 4 AWG, 4 conductor unshielded 1KV special purpose control tray cable constructed with stranded bare copper, cross-linked polyethylene insulation and an overall polyvinylchloride jacket. Individual conductors are manufactured in accordance with UL Standard 44, Type XHHW-2. Cable is manufactured in the USA in accordance with UL Standards 1277 and 2277 and listed as “Wind Turbine Tray Cable” for installation in a cable tray or raceway within a wind turbine generator in accordance with Article 336 of the National Electric Code. Cable may be installed in open air, in cable trays or raceways within a wind turbine generator and is approved for direct burial and outdoor applications. Jacket is sunlight and oil I & II resistant and cable is (UL) Wind Turbine Tray Cable approved for 1KV, 90°C Wet or Dry and (CSA) CIC approved for 600V 90°C and meet or exceed the requirements of IEEE 383, UL 1581 (1685) and 1202 (FT-4) 70,000 BTU/HR flame tests.
