Please Note:

All Applicants are required to submit the following with this application:

  • Photo / Applicants must be present at ceremony to receive scholarship
  • 400 word minimum essay that tells why you want to go to college? Why do you want to be who you want to be? And how the community will benefit from you becoming that?
  • If leaving High School, an official transcript from your school 2.83 GPA
  • Letter of Recommendation.
  • Letter of Admission or proof of attending college prior to receiving scholarship
  • Must prove to be between the ages of 16yrs – 19yrs.

About The Program

CanRoz Foundation is non-profit organizations that is designed to help underprivileged students that can't afford to go to college receive some aid to assist with the cost to help them reach their dreams. The scholarship will go towards a college of choice for education or training.

Who Benefits

The program will assist students who have completed 12th grade or higher and are entering education at accredited college or university.

General Information

The application process will begin February 1st and continue thru March 15th yearly. Essays will be due no later than March 15th each academic year and Scholarships will be awarded by May 11th this academic year. All applicants must have a GPA of 2.83 or better. Every applicant must write a 400 word essay about why he or she wants to go to college and how they and the community will benefit from them achieving higher learning. After all entries are viewed, there will be a scholarship awarded. Lack of notification by August 1st will signify the applicant was not one of the scholarship recipients. Remember everyone that try are winners already, but if you don't try you already lost.

Recipient Selection

Essays judged on spelling, grammar, style, and compassion of heartfelt message. The winners will be chosen by the scholarship board members. After all entries are viewed, scholarships are awarded by the board members.
