MINUTES OF VIDYALAYA MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETING 2017-18

The meeting of Vidyalaya Management Committee, KV Sec-25 Rohini was held on 08-06-2017 at 11:00 A.M. in the principal’s Room in Vidyalaya premises. The principal welcomed all the worthy members of VMC Prof. P.B. Sharma Chairman VMC has informed about his ill health and has asked to bear his absence due the same Dr. RichaSrivasatava, nominee Chairman was requested to chair the meeting .After this the agenda points were presented by the Principal Madam :-

1. Shifting the school to Newly Constructed Vidyalaya Building:-

1. In the last two months school has been upgraded Admission process was on and now we have two sections for level 1-10 and 3 sections at level 11.
2. Admission up to class 8 is complete.
3. We further need to state that all the work related to building is over but we could not shift due to partially constructed swimming pool (which is a threat to the safety of students).

In this regard we also need to makeyou aware ofho’nble high court’s decision as that has terminated the agreement between the parties.
(i.e. KVS &MIS PremKathuria )in relation to swimming pool ,GYM nasium and Ice Hockey ring.(at the site)

Also the construction agencywas issued a notice to vacate the site with in a month (i.e. by 30 May 2017),but nothing has been done so far.

=>There is an urgent need to turn the above mentioned area as out of bound, keeping in view for the safety of students and other people present there.We are all prepared to shift the assets (school as a whole) in the next 12 days as an urgent and necessary action.As per KVS instruction (oral) we have requested PWD Arunachal Pradesh to construct a partition wall to separate the school campus from swimming pool sothat we could start the classes there.

d. The inauguration ceremony of school building is also under consideration of commissioner K.V.SThus,Principal requested all the members to honor the programme with their benign presence.

Estimated Expenditure to purchase required materials for New Building:-

Thus… as a must,Principal requested the VMC toapprove the above mentioned expenditure. So as to, initiate the process of administrative approval from Deputy Commissioner (RO), Delhi for requesting the sanction of funds to purchase above mentioned items. Principal also ensured that the purchase process will be followed ,as per KVS norms.

VMC Member approved the same. And , instructed the principal to develop sports ground . She was also instructed to estimate the amount of money required for the same with the help of authorized agency . Further she was told to forward the fund requisition for the same to KVS.

…the J.E., Mr. V.K. Gupta was also present for the meeting and was requested to complete the construction of wall (for safety) by 20th June 2017.

1. Result of Class X:-

CBSE result for class X has been declared on 3 June 2017. In the last academic session, i.e. 2016-17, 71 students of our school took CBSE exam,at level 10 . With pride we mentioned that all our students had got good marks. The school’s result is 100% . Four of our students got 10 CGPA. Thus, weThanked and congratulated our hon’ble Chairman for his guidance and support and all other members for their unconditional support.

VMC members congratulated Principal,students and other staff member for their great achievement .

1. Vacancy Position:-

As per newly sanctioned classes the staff strength of Vidyalaya has increased. Thus VMC was made aware of the vacancy position of teachers :-

They were also informed that we expect, that during Annual Transfer all posts will be filled by the KVS (HQ) New Delhi. Thus, after summer vacation, wemay have to appoint contractual teachers against above mentioned posts to make sure that no academic loss will be there to students.

1. Admission in Class XI:-

We also bought to their kind notice the registration for Class XI,which will start from 16.6.2017 . First we will be catering to our students and the students of neighbouring KVs .If Seats left then the process for outside students will start on 27.06.2017. Parameters for admission to different streamsare mentioned below :-

For KV students :-

1. Science - A minimum – of 7.6 CGPA
2. Commerce-Minimum-of 6.4 CGPA
3. Humanities-all students of K.V. declared successful

Outsiders :-

1. Science - A minimum – of 8 CGPA
2. Commerce-minimum -of 8 CGPA
3. Humanities-Minimum-of 6 CGPA
