JSE – LEADEREX 2016 PROMOTIONAL COMPETITION

Terms and Conditions
Description
· The JSE Limited (“JSE”) will be conducting a promotional competition at the LeaderEx 2016 Exhibition (“LeaderEx 2016”) in accordance with the terms of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 and the Regulations promulgated thereunder, where applicable.
· On 8 and 9 July 2016 the JSE will be at the 2016 LeaderEx to be hosted at the Sandton Convention Centre, 161 Maude Street, Sandton.
· The JSE will select the prize winner of the highest score of the JSE “Bull Run” game over the duration of the two days at the 2016 LeaderEx, attendees of the
LeaderEx 2016 and those attendees who play the “Bull Run” at the JSE stand together with their acquired score (“the competition”).
· The prize winners will be notified on the last day of the LeaderEx 2016 and the prize winner will be contacted by the JSE within 14 (fourteen) business days of the LeaderEx 2016 by means of the contact information supplied by the prize winner. Should the JSE be unable to contact a prize winner after reasonable attempts to do so, the JSE reserves the right to award the winner’s prize to the next correct estimate chosen.
Prizes
· The prizes available in competition the will be as follows:
o First prize : “Financial Fitness” goodie bag to the value of R 1500.00
o Second prize: “Financial Fitness” goodie bag to the value of R1000.00
o Third prize: “Financial Fitness” goodie bag to the value R1000.00
· There are no cash alternatives to the prize on offer, no cash payment will be made to any prize winner of the prize.
How to enter
· In order to qualify for entry into the competition an entrance ticket is required, as well as attendance at the LeaderEx 2016.
· Attendees must play the “Bull Run” game and get a score for the game they play, at the JSE stand at the LeaderEx 2016.
· The highest number of points collected in the “Bull Run” game, as indicated on the leaderboard shall be the prize winner.
· In the event that there is a tie in the highest score accumulated, all of the individuals with a tied score shall be placed together and a random prize winner shall be selected by means of a lucky draw.
· Only 1 (one) entry into the competition per attendee will be allowed.
General
· The promoter of this competition is the JSE.
· The JSE, its directors, employees, contractors, agents or consultants or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the JSE, or a supplier of goods or services in connection with the competition, or the spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members are not eligible to participate in the competition.
· The JSE will be entitled to publish the prize winner’s name (at no fee or consideration) and the prize winner will not be required to endorse, promote or advertise any of the JSE’s products or services.
· The JSE will adjudicate and decide upon any issues arising from or connected with competition, the prize and the award of prize. The JSE’s decision will be final and binding upon all entrants on all aspects of the competition and no correspondence will be entered into.
· Minors may not enter the competition.
· The JSE, its directors, employees, contractors, agents, consultants and suppliers assume no liability whatsoever for any direct or indirect loss or damage arising from any aspect of the competition howsoever arising.
· If required by the appropriate regulatory authorities or if the JSE in its discretion so decides, the JSE shall have the right to terminate the competition with immediate effect without notice. In this event, all entrants hereby waive any rights which they may have against the JSE and acknowledge that they have no recourse or claim of any nature whatsoever against the JSE, its directors, employees, contractors, agents, consultants and suppliers.
· Entrants and the prize winner indemnify the JSE against any claims of any nature whatsoever arising out their participation in the competition.
· The prize is not transferable and in the event that the prize is not claimed for any reason, such prize will be awarded to the next name chosen from the eligible entrants.
· By participating in the competition, all entrants agree to these terms and conditions and agree that the competition results are final in all aspects.
